As night falls, the Abbey of Bon Repos comes alive with a prestiduous grand spectacle. 400 local people take part as extras and are guided by an impressive scene, which for 2 hours carries the spectator back in time in a spiral though history.

The war of fire, the digging of Nantes – Brest canal, the bloodthirsty Conomor, the Knights' Tournaments, the advent of the Abbey and the desperate battle of the “Bonnets Rouges”.

Illustrated by lively scenes, where tenderness and violence interlace. Each second, the story unfolds, elevated by pyrotechnic effects, and transcended by an enchanting musical band. A breathtaking show, rich in emotion is illustrated by giant images and where the unexpected awaits you.

The Nantes to Brest Cannal

The work started in 1811 and finished in 1840. From 1823 to 1836, condemned soldiers forced to worked, made the trench of Glomel.

The “bonnets rouges” (Red Bonnets)

People did not accept the reforms of Colbert. In June 1675, the revolt of the Red Bonnets extended all over Brittany after its beginnings in Rennes .
